Job .Net/SharePoint Developer

SharePoint/.NET Developer
Santa Monica, CA

This position is based in our Santa Monica, CA office.  Some travel (< 25%) within the Los Angeles area may be required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop SharePoint based solutions including custom web parts, event handlers, InfoPath forms, etc.
• Work with clients and coworkers to define system strategy, requirements and architecture.
• Develop custom solutions using C#, MVC, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics or a related field.
• Solid software design skills, including object-oriented design, test-driven design and use cases.
• 4+ years experience with C#, web serviecs, and the Microsoft .NET/MVC framework.
• 2+ years experience with SharePoint technnologies (or willingness to learn).
• Experience with XML-related technolgoies, such as AJAX, XSD, XSLT
• Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012
• Knowledge of Web protocols and standards (HTTP, HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, etc.)
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey complex technical concepts in non-technical terms.
• Thrive on problem solving.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft server technologies including SQL Server, Reporting Server, SharePoint Server Enterprise features such as Performance Point Servies, Excel Services, PowerPivot Services, etc.
• Prior experience with Agile, Scrum, or related software development techniques.
